I was in a serious automobile accident as a teenager in the mid 1960s with a head injury and brain trauma that included amnesia that was temporary but that the doctors told me would come back to create memory difficult as I grew older. When I began having memory problems I wasn’t worried, but as they got much worse I applied for government benefits and was denied because there are no records from the hospital in Stamford Connecticut… it seems that their older records were destroyed some years back. I wrote to the hospital and I filled out beaucoup papers with the Federal government and the State government.
It was extremely frustrating and I am still suffering from my inability to even prove that this ever happened to me.
BUT I do not want my medical / health records to be online or to be shared in any way with anybody except with my individual permission each and every time…
