The GetMyHealthData campaign is a collaborative effort among leading consumer organizations, health care experts, former policy makers and technology organizations that believe passionately that consumer access to digital health information is an essential cornerstone for better health and better care.
Coordinated by the National Partnership for Women & Families, a non-profit consumer organization, collaborators include the organizations listed below, and leaders such as former National Coordinator for Health IT Farzad Mostashari and former Chief Technology Officer of the United States, Aneesh Chopra.
- Tracers: Give consumers the tools to exercise their right to request and receive their digital health data.
- Tech: Promote innovative tools for consumers to easily use and share their health data.
- Policy: Change the culture to make consumer access to data the norm.
We believe consumer demand for their digital health data will position patients as equal partners in care and create fundamental change in the health care system.
